Due to the amount of universities in and around Washington DC we do have a large student population. With that comes co-signers. Due to tenants being full time students we do not run credit on the students. Rather on the parents. Leases in DC are joint and severed. Meaning any parent that signs as a co-signer is liable for the entire lease.
Pre-Move In Prep
How We Prepare Your Property For Occupancy:
Process tenant move out information within 24 hours of receipt.
Notify Owner that unit will become vacant and permission to re lease.
Conduct vacancy walk through once tenant has moved out.
Complete full move out inspection.
Create punch list of items needing attention or completion prior to re marketing.
Alert tenant of any items going to be held from their security deposit.
Receive permission from owner to re market and return security deposit.
Additionally, Some additional services are offered during tenancy.
Inspections are conducted at the owners request.
Fall and Spring inspections can be conducted with tenant present.
